Great to serve as an appetizer or as a snack at a Game Day party.
Ingredients
-
6oz Pure Black Asada Flap Meat
1 Yellow Onion
1 Yellow Bell Pepper
2 Cups Cremini Mushrooms
8 Tbsp White Queso
1 Block Swiss Cheese
15” x 23” Puff Pastry Dough Block
-
¼ Teaspoon Hardcore Carnivore Black Beef Seasoning
Directions
Take the asada and season with Hardcore Carnivore Black beef seasoning. Grill or pan sear just until it is seared but still rare. Cool and dice.
Small dice your onion, mushroom, and bell peppers.
Cook your onion until translucent, add mushroom, and cook until moisture has evaporated. Add in your bell pepper, toss, and turn off the heat.
Fold in queso sauce along with some diced Swiss cheese and let it all melt together with the residual heat from the pan. Then, fold in the diced meat.
Take the puff pastry and cut out 12- 2"x2" squares, place into a muffin tin and fill with the Philly mixture.
Top with diced Swiss cheese and place it in the oven for 20 minutes at 375°F.
Once out of the oven, let them rest for 5 minutes, place on a serving dish, and garnish with fresh-cut scallion.
