President + CEO

With over 30 years of experience in the culinary field, our founder Svante has always been passionate about high-quality ingredients. After searching the globe to find the best meats possible he took his findings to other Chefs who quickly put them in their fine-dining restaurants. Now, he’s created Herd & Grace to make these meats available for the home cook.

Michael Puglisi

Senior Director + In-House Butcher

Michael has worked around the country in the culinary industry. His experiences range from being a Butcher and Charcutier for James Beard Awarded Chefs to serving as Executive Sous Chef for Michelin Starred Chef Thomas Keller. After his own successes in the butcher world, Michael now oversees all of Herd & Grace including our epic Steak Tastings!
