Herd & Grace uses a trusted process to ensure quality. Your order will be delivered in our Herd & Grace box with a thick-walled, biodegradable insulation. We use compostable gel packs that are drain-friendly and easily recycled. If the gel packs thaw during delivery, your meat will remain at a safe temperature - it should arrive frozen or possibly partially thawed due to transit time. Food safety is important to us, and we want to deliver top-quality products every time. This is a proven process we believe in for optimum results.
Yes! Please note that if you request a special date for delivery, we do use a contract delivery service (FedEx) so there could be possible delays. We will do everything possible to make sure your order gets to your specified location in time. To request, please get in touch with our Herd & Grace Concierge Service. Please note that our team ships Monday-Wednesday to guarantee delivery by Friday.
For orders placed through our concierge program, on your selected ship date, our team will share a list of tracking numbers so you can follow along.
For orders placed on our website, you will receive an email confirming the order, and then a separate email that includes the shipping number once your package has left our Steak Shop.
When stored in the freezer, our premium meats can be kept for 12 months (USDA). After thawing in the refrigerator, steaks should be consumed within 3–5 days for the best taste and quality.
Don’t worry, we have options! You can still give a great gift with our Herd & Grace Gift Card or our Herd & Grace Yearly Membership. Both of these options give your recipients a choice when it comes to their meats.
No need to be home for the delivery. Signature is not required, and your meat will stay nice and frosty until your recipient is able to transfer it to the freezer later the same day.
