A delicous yet simple recipe for a special night in.
4 New York steaks
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Remove your thawed steak from the refrigerator and place on a plate to bring to room temperature (at least 15 minutes prior to cooking)
Heat oil in pan over high heat
Lightly oil and season both sides of your thawed steak with salt and pepper
Cook on one side for 4 minutes
Flip and cook an additional 4 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 135℉
Remove from heat and let the steak rest, covered, for 5 minutes.
Slice & enjoy
